This policy describes what the HeavyMuscle app and this website collect, how it's used, and what choices you have. It's written in plain language. If something is unclear, write to flavioislima@gmail.com.
Data that stays on your device
Your profile (name, weight, height, age, gender — all optional), custom workout templates, training sessions, body measurements and app settings are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. You can use the app without creating an account.
When you sign in with Google (optional)
If you choose to sign in, the items above are synced to Firebase Firestore under a document at users/{uid}. Only you can read that document. You can delete your account from within the app to erase everything.
Ads
The app uses Google AdMob (banners on the Exercises and History screens, and an interstitial after you finish a workout). AdMob may collect advertising identifiers from the device according to Google's policy.
AI coach
When you use the coach, a summary of your context (flagged injuries, available equipment, level, goal and recent sessions) is sent to the AI provider to generate the response. We do not send your name, email or direct identifiers.
Analytics on this website
This site (including this page) uses Firebase Analytics to measure traffic origin, country, operating system / device and which pages and links are clicked. No personal identifiers are collected and the visitor ID is anonymous — used only to understand site performance and usability. We follow Google Analytics for Firebase practices with IP anonymization.
Analytics in the app
The app sends usage events (screens visited, actions such as 'start workout' and 'finish workout'). The userId is anonymous and cannot identify you personally; it only helps us understand performance and improve the app.
Permissions
The app requests access to Health Connect (Android) / HealthKit (iOS) only if you enable it; you can revoke it any time in system settings.
